What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

Yeah, ill prob wait for the Netflix to happen. Tired of paying for another streaming service. Adding up way too much. Just got a price bump on Netflix

 

I think I found a new series to binge watch. I watched the first episode and it's so stupid, that it's hilarious. I was laughing my ass off during the entire episode:

 

I cancelled Netflix just the other day after the latest price increase. "We're increasing the price to bring you more crap with subtitles that you have to read instead of watch".

If I reinstate it, it will be to binge something, then cancel it again.

 

Yeah, it seems to be going up every couple of years, and I think its around the 20 dollar mark. I really only pay for that and Disney. THe other accounts I have are shared. BUt tack that onto the cost of internet which I think is 80 and its well over 100 just for two services and internet. I feel for 80 dollars I should def be getting internet and cable but idk

 

Exactly what we did. That marketing statement did it for us. We really watch so little NTFX anymore.

 

Gave it a fair shot and couldn't get into it.

Anyone use IMDb streaming? I had no idea it existed. Mostly not great movies - BUT FREE - lots of series, lots of Brit series I don't see elsewhere.

How about Kanopy? Via your library. No charge. Can watch up to 10 items, depends on your county library.

 

What is on Youtube that is worth that much money? I watch it for Minecraft redstone videos and that's about it.

My boss was saying that about the Super Bowl now that I think about it. I signed up for a month of Peacock to watch the game, but holeee crap it was so politcally charged. Not sure any of the current "live" TV networks are worth the angst. Also not trying to start any crap or get myself banned!

 

Yeah I agree, part of the reason I wanted to do away with cable in the first place and I haven't missed it since. I don't need live TV, there are various other forms of media for staying connected to the news/sports which is the only reason I could see wanting to have live TV in this day and age.

 

Been watching Reacher on Amazon, not bad I guess. I've recently discovered TubiTv, while they have some actual hit movies its mostly loaded with B type Sci-Fi that wouldn't even make the late night SyFy Channel line up
