What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

The HBO one portrays a documentary crew filming the family during before and during the trial, I figured that must be the documentary that's on Netflix. Definitely going to have to watch it now after I finish up this show

 

dont have HBO so haven't seen the new one but NF is the actual players in the case not actors.

 

I agree with this. The NF was pretty crazy. I havent started the HBO one yet.

Kind of feel the same with Tiger King vs the series Joe vs. Carole, not as good as the original Documentary

 

Yeah the HBO one is acted and not documentary style in the sense that they show different scenes on what might've happened if he were innocent versus guilty, if this or that had happened instead, etc. But they also introduce a (French) documentary crew that films them which I think is probably supposed to reflect the crew that did that real life documentary back when it was going on

 

Just started the one on Netflix you guys are talking about. Glad I watched the dramatization first as this makes it seem so much more real because these are the real players in it. Actors did a good job of portraying them

I've been curious about this one.

 

I thought it was decent. Those asses and NRC together basically set the stage for the public to hate nuclear.

I know for a fact today's systems are a LOT more safe, but still you get the dangerous combo (say no more, rulz) and something like Fukashima happen because asinine BU gen location.

 

It's good if you were say - able to comprehend news when it happened - but definitely skewed - but fair treatment of the operator and NRC.

 

Not sure I want more of this. That dude is a horny manipulative cockroach. Almost stopped watching when he was buggering some random dude at the porn shop. And what? We find out 21 years before,

If he is innocent he has a funny way of making himself seem guilty that's for sure. Might just be his personality. I haven't finished the HBO series yet so I'm not exactly sure how it all ends, never followed the case in real life (was in high school when the trial happened).

I gotta admit the owl theory seemed awfully plausible but what a freak way to die if that was what actually happened.

 

The Old Man on FX/Hulu starts tonight, looks really good.

I didn't get this impression from watching the one on Netflix. Is it suspicious that they both died that way? OF COURSE. But watching the interviews and the family and all that, IDK, seemed like a normal guy to me.

 

Normal guy doesn't BF some random dude at a porno shop or start jerking the salami in a sauna with a Marine and so on. Maybe this is all fiction, IDK. But dman he is one messed up SOB and all the family and wives and shit whatamess.

HBO makes him seem guilty as sin. I am not perfect by any stretch, but I try - and in my eyes, you live a life as portrayed and karma/God/the rabid dog of the debil gonna bite your shriveled nuts.

I like when the geezer during the political debate screams at him for lying about the purple heart. I am that geezer, minus 20 years!

 

I don't recall the porno shop thing or salami so ill take your word for it. Yeah, must have been super hard on his family I can only imagine. Yeah, lying about that is not okay regarding his service.

They did fuck up the chain of evidence regarding her shorts, and the other guy who lied on the stand.

Interesting how the HBO intros the characters. The producer lady for example. Or how you find out how his kids came about. The sons are his only bio kids as far as I could tell. Interesting Brady bunch!
