Man, I tried to watch The Last Stand... I had hopes... But every time anyone tries to make a movie or TV show about it or any other King novel/ette. It just never works. I've been a huge King fan since I was a kid, and have yet to see anyone bring his visions to film and make them worth watching.

Shawshank Redemption was a great movie, granted I never read King's novel that it was based on it but as a film it was really good.

I don't know, maybe most of his horror stories. But The Green Mile, Stand by Me, somebody already mentioned The Shawshank Redemption are all great movies. I'm sure there are others I'm forgetting.
The Shining freaked me out when I was younger, the more recent sequel Doctor Sleep was also a good movie.

Epi 5 then Episode 6 are actually very good. Rounds the story quite well. 7 and 8 left

Dirty Black Bag has a lot of Wild Wild West gadgetry as well. Hokey as hell.

Watched ep1 last night. Didn't expect to see Littlefinger (from Game of Thrones) in it as well, of course he plays a crazy deranged guy lol.

Definitely interesting, will keep watching. Travis Fimmel (guy from Raised by Wolves and Vikings) is a favorite actor of mine so I'm looking forward to seeing his character later on

Seems...............like I have seen this a million times before but not as hokey. I'll let it go longer than 30 minutes this time. Does it get better?

I didn't make it to 30 minutes. Seemed like it just moved from one action scene to the next. There may have been some kind of plot developing? I didn't care to find out.

    I think it gets better.

I’ve also had my nieces over for a few days, so I’ve been letting them pick junk. So might just be I’m glad to not have to watch their junk anymore

I'm enjoying it. To me it's just a gratuitous action flick like John Wick, Taken, or the like. Cliche plot to support the action scenes. Done well and not meant to be taken for anything resembling real life.

"Why are you walking like that?"

"because I got SHOT IN THE ASS, SUZANNE"

Chris Evans character cracks me up in this movie lol
