I’m an eighth grade teacher and some students convinced me to watch some anime’s. They’re not too bad actually. Best part is, I use it to get to know them deeper so it’s win-win

Some of them are for sure. Once I got over some of the quirkiness, I was actually enjoying them. Some are unbearable though. Haha

Wife and I really enjoyed but kind of fell off for the last two seasons. Haven’t watched the latest one. Felt I was watching the same thing over and over

Exactly how I felt halfway through the last season.

Really liked it at first. Then felt I had to keep watching to find out things they teases endlessly. Then I felt I was pot committed and had to finish the series. Then partway into an episode last season I finally admitted it wasn’t the show it was before and cut my losses. Haven’t been back.

It is basically the same as far as the crimes etc. however, I enjoyed the whole story of red and agent keen and the what happened and how it all came together.

It will truly be hard to do justice to the book. Heller put together a masterpiece with that one.

"There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's own safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Or would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't, but if he was sane he had to fly them. If he flew them he was crazy and didn't have to, but if he didn't want to he was sane and had to. Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle. 'That's some catch, that catch-22,' he observed. 'It's the best there is,' Doc Daneeka agreed."

It’s one of those books I routinely read every couple years. So good.

I also read the space trilogy by CS Lewis and Hitch Hikers Guide to the galaxy on a similar interval. Otherwise I can’t stand reading something twice. Same with movies and tv shows. I don’t like knowing what’s going to happen.

There are exceptions of course like Arrested Development.

I've read it a few times. I've also read every Vonnegut book at least twice. My favorite book ever and one I've read many multiple times is A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur's Court. For being one of Twain's lesser known works it is the perfect human satire IMO. Read it if you haven't. Then realize it was written 133 years ago. It kinda proves the old adage: The more things change the more they stay the same. lol

Oh yeah Vonnegut is great. I’ve read that Twain book but it’s been awhile. I’ll add it to the queue. Thanks.
