What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

Last year I was doing some work for a women. I had to move a bookcase and front and center in that case was a very old copy of A Connecticut Yankee. I made some small talk about how great that book was and that lead to a lengthy conversation about the human condition. Life, death, politics, self-made problems, the insanity and irrelevance of it all in the grand scheme, yada yada.

After about 45 minutes I let her know that I should really get back to work. Without missing a beat she informed me that out conversation was worth every penny of what she was paying me. It was one of the nicest compliments I've ever received at work. I finished up that job a few days later and she hands me a list of her favorite 10 books. I read through the list and chuckled. I'd read every book on it. She also stuffed a thank you note and fat tip in that envelope.

 

Is this any good?

 

I enjoyed the first episode. That is as far as I've gotten.

 

I saw the show when I was searching prime and was intrigued. I’ll give it a shot. Thanks!

 

Late to the party but the Wife and I just finished Yellowstone. Really enjoyed it. It reminded me of Sons Of Anarchy meets Dances with wolves. Of course the violence was a little far fetched and over the top.

 

Ive heard good things about Yellowstone too. Have to watch it

This is going to sound weird: Best Star Wars thing I ever watched.

What the hell is andor? I used to be a Star Wars fan but they have made so many now I can’t keep up. Seems like they have a new series every month.

What didn't you like?

I mean some of the movies suck a LOT more.

Just another story, one view of how the rebels started. This one is not a kiddie show really. No humor in this one. I liked Mandolorian as much as the next fat person but this one is more gritty.

Just finished the watcher. Was pretty fun but if you are anything like me be prepared to be pissed off.

Did we all see that Henry cavil is no longer the Witcher and replaced by Liam hemsworth? Interesting

That's crazy. He was committed to several seasons of it in the beginning. Some are saying he got fed up with how far the writers have deviated from the source material... apparently he was a big fan of the game. Others say it's because he's doing more Superman stuff for the DCEU coming up.

I dunno, be interesting to see how Hemsworth takes up the character but Cavill was great at it. Gonna be some big shoes to fill.

 

Agreed. From my reading it appears to have to do with the the superman stuff, but could def be deviation stuff as well. I guess well see how it goes
