What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

Speaking of good shows (I've never seen Breaking Bad but that's what I hear) Apple is bringing a sequel of Band of Brothers to Apple TV.

 

That will get some subscribers

 

To me Season 2 of Yellowstone ended up being better than season 1. Imo.

I read through the 1st 10 pages but didn't want to read through 26. I didn't see Homeland mentioned anywhere.
Now we watch a lot of tv series with Amazon, Netflix and 2 dvr's from Direct TV.

Well... you get the point. Loved em all. But out of all of them, Homeland is the only one that had us hooked into bingeing the whole 1st season in one day.
The 1st 2-3 seasons are great. Seems to fall apart after that.

 

Homeland really is a good show, I forgot about that one...I think I stopped watching around season 5 but only because life got in the way. But I remember the first seasons were especially great, the ones with Damien Lewis in the cast.

Also loved Dexter but that show really lost it's way after the writer's strike back in those days...seaons 1 & 2 were incredible. 3 & 4 were ok, and after 4 it just really went downhill

Justified was fun to watch, I don't think that show got as much credit as it deserved back when it was around.

I recommend checking out Hell on Wheels, was around the same time as Justified (on Netflix I believe). Another good show that didn't really get the credit it deserved, great lead actor in it.

 

Well I believe you did mention one not mentioned in the previous 26! Boardwalk Empire and it is AWESOME!

 

Yeah I think you have to be invested into Jesse's character through the show to really enjoy the movie.

The movie is basically what one or two more episodes would have been if the final season had them.

Show ended with Jesse driving off in the El Camino from that tweaker compound he was held in, and for the last 10 years we were all left wondering WTF happened to him lol

 

My wife has been watching Unbelievable on Netflix.. on the last episode now.

 

Yeah.. never heard of her and when I opened Netflix it auto-started her stand-up. I was like whoa. Then continued to watch it lol

 

Me and a bunch of other people will say you should, but you probably already know that lol.

 

If you can get by Bryan Cranston I think you'll enjoy it. It's a dark comedy. The story line is a believable scenario (imo)

 

I think a lot of people had a difficult time accepting Bryan Cranston in the role when the show first aired, for some it took probably a few seasons to start watching it for that reason. But I really do think once you get into the story (which I think will happen after the first episode) you'll see how good he his for that role.

Also the show focuses just as much on Jesse really, maybe slightly less...but even if you can never get past Bryan Cranston it's worth watching for Jesse's character.

He was originally supposed to get killed/written off early on but he was so good in the role that they made him a main character throughout.

 

How could anybody not like Tim Whatley?

 

The Rightous Gemstones on HBO is definitely worth checking out. A bit of a dark comedy-drama with several familiar faces in the cast, including Walt Goggins (Boyd Crowder from Justfied], though his character doesn't show up until a few episodes in.

 

Wow that’s funny to hear because i had only seen Bryan Cranston on a couple Seinfeld episodes so i had no expectations but find Jesse and Skylar to be terribly annoying!

 

Almost everyone hates Skylar lol.

Jesse grows on you as he matures and moves out of the punk kid phase

 

i know but the only Malcolm i have seen was the alternate ending Bryan did where he woke up and Walt / BB was just a dream in a Malcolm episode.

 

We started watching ‘Living With Yourself’ on NetFlix starring Paul Rudd (Ant Man). Interesting premise, enjoyable show.
