Finished the Crown on NF. Liked it a lot.

 

I really like Dominic West as an actor, but I have a hard time separating him from his role as a Baltimore PD detective in The Wire, especially when he played Prince Charles in the Crown

 

Dude is way better looking than Chuck

 

Just finished Reacher and thought it was great. Fun, action-y, didn't have to pay too close attention to it.

 

Oops yeah I meant Prince Charles not Phillip lol, get 'em confused all the time

 

Harry and Meghan on NF. Very interesting to me on why they left and their story. Watching the crown (if its true) lets me see why the queen and the royal family acts like they do. It's also interesting to hear this royal couples perspective on events that are transpiring

 

I didn't think I'd like The Crown at all (never had any interest in the Royal Family happenings) but my wife really wanted to watch it together. I got really into it lol. I know the real royal family doesn't like it of course and they probably do take a lot of creative liberty with it, but it's done very well.

 

We just finished the 'Dahmer' mini series on Netflix. Now looking for something else to dig into.

haha, to clarify it's about the early 70s - mid 80s sex trade/rise of pornography in NYC, focuses on the lives of several prostitutes and pornstars, police detectives, city officials, working class, etc and the way that organized crime and PD played in a big role in helping the sex trade there thrive until finally laws started going in place that forced change (fueled big time by the AIDS epidemic in the 80s)

It's very interesting, but definitely not something to watch at work or if your SO is home and not expecting it...there's a shit ton of porn and sex scenes in it

It's like The Wire if The Wire focused on the sex trade instead of the drug trade, basically.

I just finished it last week and the 3rd/final season is really good, the finale was one of the better finales I've seen to a show.

 

Dark materials on HBO. Finally caught up to the new season.

Muppet Family Christmas, a made for TV special, 1987. YouTube. Somehow, I have never seen it. The nostalgia is hitting hard.
