Watched A Man Called Otto tonight, really enjoyed it

Although I do not recommend watching it with your pregnant wife, 2 hours later we are still trying to process the emotions lol.

Tried to watch it and got bored.

Cleopatra: I don't like that its commentary plus the story. I would have liked it better as just a retelling of the story with no commentary. Turned it off

Same here. It's amazing how violent and psychopathic one can be as a young male. That seeing humans destroyed in horrible ways can be seen as entertainment. I don't know if it's due to less testosterone, more life experience, having kids, and/or the good Lord, but I'm glad I'm past that phase.

Night Agent started off decent but was completely absurd by the end. The female hit-person was a big eye roll, I had to fast forward through her scenes.

2nd Season of Shadow and Bone started of good, but went into CW mode in the middle. Once it dawned on me all the main characters were in there 20s, had a hard time finishing it.

I really enjoyed Lockwood and Co., way more than I thought I would.

Close to Home Murder in the Coalfield wasn't bad. It's German, GDR backstory, kept me interested.

Dragged Across Concrete was worth the watch. Direction was amateur, but the lack of anything being woke was refreshing.

Currently watching Reacher on Prime. I find the series absurd and tropeish, but I can't seem walk away from it. It's entertaining none the less.

I couldn't finish it. Just too much of a departure from the book.

Tag and whiplash on prime. Both interesting movies for completely different reasons.

Night agent on flix. Was good. Started the Diplomat. Also good.

Also, season 6 of Rick and Morty dropped on HBO.

All of Wes Anderson's films have the same feel, with maybe the exception of his first (and in my opinion, best) film Bottle Rocket. I will still watch his stuff, but the twee can be a bit too much sometimes.

Just finished the 3rd season of Jack Ryan on Prime. This season was way better than the first 2. Way better writing and classic cold war-esqe Clancy. Yeah, the CIA director was a bit too much of a tool for the sake of the plot, and Ryan is a bit too indestructible, but other than that, good stuff.

So I watched "Waco: The Aftermath" on showtime, didn't realize it was only going to be 5 episodes. Felt like it was rushed and missing a whole lot of context for a mini series.

Then I realized that it's actually a 2 part mini series and the first part aired back in 2018, just called Waco...also on Showtime. Most of the same actors

So I guess I'm watching it backwards now
