What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

It’s a different feel and delivery. I like a lot of other movies Wes Anderson has done though.

it’s slow. Slow scenes but fast pace it that makes sense.

I’m good with it so far.

but not like the trailers I interpreted but not far off

 

The first few seasons of Yellowstone were not bad. This last one is not worth the subscription, but the wife will fillet me if I don’t get it.
1883 was excellent. Really liked it and I too wish they did another season.
1923 was almost as good as 1883 but I agree the writing got lazy towards the end

 

Lol.... yes, the wife was the same. Keeping me up because she insisted to keep binge watching into the wee hours of the morning.

Mission Impossible 7. Started strong as usual, middle drags.

hoping it ends well. Too much nonsense to stretch it out.

 

Sat thru The Popes Exorcist last night. Russell Crowe is always awesome to watch and like most other movies I watch it starts out good but ends badly with to much excess.

Watched first 3 episodes of Kleo on Netflix last night. Prolly won't bother to finish it.
Will be starting Ahsoka tonight on Disney, hoping it's better.

Watched Asteroid City last night.

It's like the usually effortless Wes Anderson tried too hard or something. It was just OK. Almost like a physics/light/electron experiment where the mere observation alters the results. Hardly above just being entertained. Not the usual for this Anderson fan, IMHO, and I can see why an non fan wouldn't like it.

My wife insists on watching that show with Maegan Markle! Whatever it's called! I can't stand how stupid and pointless it is...so I start my nightly beers early.
