Completed S2 of True Detective. Sad ending. I questioned several tactical decisions by Ray, Paul, and even Frank, but did enjoy the season overall.

S2 has one hell of an opening song, I'll give it that. One of my favorite show theme/opening songs

I don't think season 2 of True Detective was as bad as some think, it was definitely unique and had a really well curated LA Noir detective vibe to it. But it had such high expectations after how good the first season was and didn't live up, was just too different and convoluted throughout with not much tying it all together until you get to the end. I remember enjoying the finale quite a bit.

I liked season 3. It's more of a classic detective type story but does a good job showing how it spans over the careers/lives of those involved and the toll it takes

Just started Bosch season 2 on Amazon. I watched season 1 a long time ago and don’t remember why I didn’t keep watching.

GREAT show. It turns into Bosch: Legacy after the last season which is 7 IRRC. Then there are 2 seasons of Bosch: Legacy. They are all good IMO.

Suppose to a companion series to the Band of Brothers/The Pacific miniseries from years back, those were amazing so I have high hopes for this.

Anyone on here use Plex? Friend of mine turned me onto it a few years ago. Free app, lots of stuff on it but best feature for me is that he has a server there with about 1500 movies and with his invite to me on Plex it allows me to access his entire movie collection which is constantly growing.

Even without the access to my buddy's collection there is a decent amount on Plex and it's free. Any Roku device should have it if you search their apps.

I have been using Plex for about 6-7 years. I have a person Linux server attached to it with about 250 movies and TV shows I 'acquired' or ripped from DVD's I had so i have something to watch even if my internet goes out. It has free streaming movies and shows like Freeve etc. have and that use that pool of free licensing distribution. Love my Plex. Can watch my personal movies on my phone etc. too. I just log in to my Plex account on a browser.
