Just finished watching Monsieur Spade. It was a really good series until the last few minutes of the final episode which had a somewhat incredulous ending.

    Thanks for that

We watched the first episode for free on Amazon. The rest cost $

It was meh right at first but at the end of that episode we were kinda sorta wanting more

What did you watch it on?

Finestkind. Paramount+. Predictable ending but, overall, an entertaining flick.

The first episode moved very slowly until the end. The rest of the episodes were more intriguing and entertaining. I watched the episodes on Acorn and AMC. It is :spending:but I find little on the networks to hold my attention, so what are you going to do but pay.

The wife and I have also been watching the old series known as The Killing. The main character gets on my nerves ( played by Mireille Enos) but the wife enjoys it so I endure. We have watched the first 3 seasons and have the last season left. We watch it when there is no hockey game to watch.

I'm only aware of 2 seasons, and I'm halfway through the second now. I'm really liking it. Hope they do a third.

I thought so. Heckuva movie. It's called "Finestkind". That's why I asked.

Masters of the Air, latest episode was good. Really enjoy the air combat scenes, as harrowing as they are to know they really happened. But the rest of the show falls short of the standard Band of Brothers series set, in my opinion (seems to be a pretty common one). Just don't connect with the characters on the screen as much. The gritty realism of the footage just doesn't come through either like it did with it's predecessors, but that probably has more to do with how much of this one had to be CGI because of the air battles and such.

Still really enjoying it though, the standard Private Ryan and BoB set is pretty damn high

Warrior, originally on Cinemax, is now on Netflix. I highly recommend. I loved the show.

    Copy and paste below:
A crime drama that takes place in the latter half of the 19th century during brutal gang wars in San Francisco's Chinatown, it follows martial arts prodigy Ah Sahm, a Chinese immigrant who arrives in the City of Lights under mysterious circumstances. Once he proves his prowess as a fighter, Sahm becomes a hit man for one of Chinatown's most powerful organized crime families. As he is mentored by the son of the crime family's leader, learning the ins and outs of gang warfare, Al Sahm wins the confidence of brothel madam Ah Toy, eventually revealing to her his true intentions. "Warrior" is based on the writings of martial arts legend Bruce Lee and features a largely Asian cast
