What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

Confirmed the fact I am not a Sheridan fan. Like a damned soap opera. But hey, if you like it, good on you. I must say the 'splosion at the end, I will need to see E2.

Terrible. IMHO. The offshoots were kinda OK. He's trying to straddle the man-chick audience and bring the soap opera watchers into the evening. There are some good parts like I said, but the first episode maybe a third in or whatever, or like the football stadium scene, or in his house with the daughter - wife and I both at the same time looked at each other and asked "Wah...........is this any good?". I liked the outside in the patch, I even liked the son with the Mexican crew scenes. The plane-truck thing over the top, but Billy-Bob with the cop on the road, that was excellent acting as expected.

 

Iceman, Tubi. About the Iceman, Otzi, and what is assumed to be his last few days. I think it would be difficult to reconstruct his last few days as depicted in the movie based on the condition of a 5000 year old frozen body. Pretty good story regardless.

Land Man S1 E2: Much much much better than E1. Sure they showed lots of skinny girl ass shots, but the story is improved and BBT acting even better. I'm hooked! Can't beat idiots banging on a wrench. So stupid! Dude and girl in shower scene was hilarious.

Silo S2 E2: Back to main silo, left us hanging what's going on with Lara Croft until Wed. Better story development, interesting human interaction.

 

I Married a Stranger (1997). Tubi. Interesting-weird animated film.

El Topo (1970). OK site. That was one weird film. The story line felt too discombobulated. I agree with a reviewer who said the director is sticking a middle finger to the audience.

36 episodes of season one of Gilligan's Island. Tubi, just started season 2 when it was in color.

Interesting to note, the movie is filmed in what must be the lowest quality of film and camera ever. The series, even the black and white episodes, are much cleaner.

A Man on the Inside, Netflix. Lighthearted funny series, i'm enjoying it so far.

 

Dune Heresy S1 E2 - Good story, interesting. Nasty. Warning: one straight up porn scene

 

Hellboy II: The Golden Army (2008). Max. A rewatch but always entertaining, and one of the few where the sequel is better than the original.

Red River (1948). Tubi. Despite the typical American Indian stereotyping, there was a decent plot line.

 

Arcane season 2 and I couldn't care less about League of Legends. Its just a great show on its own

Speaking of which, I got into an early 2000s “reality” TV show kick and rewatched some dirty jobs and American chopper eps on streaming.

 

All About Eve (1950). Internet Archive. A bit long-winded and no action, but good acting performances and story line.

A Woman Under the Influence (1974). Max. Great acting performances but what a downer of a film.

 

Speaking of Sheridan, I just rewatched Hell or High Water.

That scene at the gas station where Chris Pine beats the shit out of the dude in the Challenger is hilarious.

White Chicks (2004). Netflix. This was horrid. A before-Thanksgiving dinner flick chosen by one of my daughters and her BF.

Airplane! (1980). Prime. The wife and I, and my other daughter, enjoyed this classic for the after-Thanksgiving dinner flick.

 

White chicks is amazing and I was 17 when it came out. Funny AF.
