They made a Deadwood movie a few years back but it was pretty disappointing.

 

I think it was just a money grab for the crew. The show was a classic

 

Yeah they touted it as being "the ending the show never got" because HBO stupidly cancelled it and rushed the last season, but yeah...it did the show itself no justice.

 

What the hell is with Scamazon inserting 3 commercials every 10 minutes on shows now? Am I supposed to pay another premium for no ads? What a crock

 

Wife and I have been binge watching The Blacklist on Netflix. Just got the start of Season 6.

Watch Sticky. Pretty hilarious serious. Crazy. Amazon.

 

You just reminded me to rewatch Letterkenny.

A crazy chick I was dating got me into it.

 

Bicycle Thieves (1948). Tubi. Excellent film. It is amazing that the three lead actors (father, mother, and son) were non-actors at the time.

Guns Akimbo (2019). Roku. Another film a little over the top with the violence but entertaining.

 

Cross on Amazon Prime. I like it

 

Sticky, Prime. It's pretty sweet.

 

Watched Ep 3 of Skeleton Crew. Kid like and extremely unimaginative. Including one girl with two moms. Disney is about done with Star Wars. They are out of juice.

 

Tried watching Wayne's World with my 9 and 10 yo kids. Hadn't watched it since high school, when it was in the theaters. There was simply too much to explain...I mean how do you explain cable access shows in this day and age? It also wasn't quite as clever as I remembered it. Upon being reminded of all the double entendres, and fearing it might be too adult for my kids, I was relieved when they indicated they weren't interested in watching it further.

Also watched Destroyer on Prime. The makeup on Kidman was really good. Standard SoCal gothic crime fare. It was ok. Kidman did a good job.

 

Not that impressed with Sticky but it’s something to watch. Kinda dumb.

Really dumb, but just the whole premise of the value of maple syrup and the mob. Jamie Lee Curtis was the letdown for me, frankly. I laughed pretty hard when the hitman/plant sitter dude in the ultra red puffer jacket was supposedly sneaking in the woods. I do wonder what parts are true.
