What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

I'm on S1/E2.

I'm deleting Apple+ and my subscription ends this Friday.

I'll watch what I can but cutting back streaming channels is a goal for wife and I.

 

Yea Apple + is lame. Dumped mine after last years slow horses.

Reacher 3 on its way and I saw 1923 is having another season

 

HBO Original Series: "True Detective: The Complete First Season"
Incredible performances by Woody Harrelson, Matthew McConaughey and Michelle Monaghan

HBO Original Series: "True Detective: The Complete Third Season"
Again: Outstanding story and acting from Mahershala Ali, Stephen Dorff and Carmen Ejogo and the supporting cast.

 

I'm so jealous if you just saw the first season for the first time. I absolutely loved that. Never saw the third season though, have to work on that one.

 

First was the best. Good stuff. Second was meh and third was pretty good. HBO had the best miniseries.

 

Season Three draws you right in almost immediately even though the main characters were previously unknown to me. Binge watchable.

 

S3 starts low-key but keeps building. (potent conclusion) Even the music was outstanding. (T. Boone Burnett: Producer)

Won't say anything more and risk ruining it.

 

And then there there’s the one in the arctic w Jody Foster was pretty intense. Oh yea, another cool Arctic one is called the terror

 

I hear that. We have too many different streaming services as well. Would probably pause Apple+ after i'm done with this show, i don't think theres anything else my wife wants to watch on it.

Life is Beautiful (1997). OK site. The ending got me real misty eye. Guido’s positivity was annoying at first but you soon realize it’s what helps him save his son.

The Magic of Belle Isle (2012). Tubi. A bit predictable but a sweet story with a good ensemble.

American Primeval on Netflix

 

Yay. That's a show I worked on.

 

The Great Ziegfeld (1936). OK site. Quite the elaborate set designs and performances. To me, Roy Bolger stood out as a dance performer - he would go onto play the scarecrow in Wizard of Oz (1939).

Aniara (2018). Hulu. A n interesting thought provoking sci-fi from Sweden. A reboot/remake of the 1960 version, also from Sweden.
