The guy looked like he got shot in the face, at least that was my first thought.

Obviously they tried a little too hard in this scene, it was good for sure but for a band of french gypsies I don't think they needed to take it that far.

Gentleman’s Agreement (1947). OK site. A little slow in spots but a good performance by the lead actors.

Rushmore (1998). OK site. Quirky film, same with the soundtrack, but catchy.

 

Night Agent S2 E1-3. Breezy, quite similar to Agency (imagine that). Still, exciting, pumping action. We enjoy it.

 

On the last ep (#6) of American Primeval, will have to watch through it again at some point. I can't watch these kinds of shows at home, my wife is not into this kind of show at all lol. She would make me fast forward most of it. So I've been watching in increments on my lunch at work. Need a day where I can just veg out and binge it straight through on TV

I find it odd that it's so lowly rated on Rotten Tomatoes, I haven't looked at the reviews but the 68% critics score is surprising (or maybe not?). I think it's fantastic

The story is contrived and corny, but interesting to watch for some. Rated down maybe because natives are not superhumanpeoplewhotalktogod and knoweverythingknown. Maybe Mormans in droves are giving it 0 stars.

 

That last part I was really wondering about too

yeah I'm surprised I was able to get her to watch Game of Thrones with me back when that was on, though there was definitely some fast forwarding. But that was before we had our 2 kids. They tend to change things lol.

Back at Night Agent again

 

Levity (2003). Tubi. Well made film about an ex-con seeking redemption and forgiveness. Good cast - Thornton, Freeman, Dunst.

Where the Day Takes You (1992). Tubi. Except for the runaways being too well dressed and with well applied makeup, this was a good film about runaways in Hollywood. Has many up and coming young stars - Sean Astin, Lara Doyle, Rikki Lake, Kyle Maclachlan, Adam Baldwin, Alyssa Milano, and Will Smith in his film debut.

 

Star Trek section 31 on paramount.

New movie spinoff not bad if you like the recent shows

 

Mother and Child (2009). Tubi. Very good cast and film. Liked that sad ending in that I did not see it coming.

All That Jazz (1979). Tubi. A musical I would recommend. Good cast and storyline.

 

Watson. New show on paramount

 

Finished S2 of Night Agent. Pure. Borderline made up plot. Acting ok but women power over the top and the rest. Pure crap. Great watch!

 

Criminal Minds on Paramount. Season 1 of 17! got a long way to go

Currently in middle of season 2 of 'In The Dark' on Netflix.

 

Auto Focus (2002). Tubi. Interesting film about Bob Crane, whose murder remains unsolved. The film focuses on his philandering lifestyle.

Hawaii Five-O (72-73). Paramount+. Completed S5. This season had some of the better episodes, and also some of the worst. Notable guest appearances: Ricardo Montalban, William Shatner, Diana Muldaur, Dirk Benedict, Andy Griffith, Richard Hatch, Carol Lawrence, and Erik Estrada.
