When they add them, it's included in Prime.

I have the itch to rewatch The Americans and see what I missed. Looks like it's on Hulu.

 

New season of "Resident Alien" started today 2/13. Funny as hell!

 

Tenet (2020). Prime. An adventurous mind bending ride. My head felt inverted trying to keep up.

Mission Impossible II (2000). Paramount+. Decent action flick but laden with believability fighting sequences and stunts.

Mission Impossible III (2006). Paramount+. My favorite of the three so far. Hoffman was pretty good; may he rest in peace.

 

Prime members can watch movies for free as long as those posters have "Prime" label on one of the corners. While other movies that do not have Prime label then they can be bought or rented.

I have cannonball Run 2 on streaming... I can NOT find first movie that came out called Cannonball Run that I was hoping to save it on my streaming box so I bought DVD instead years ago....

 

When I pay attention to the screen, I'll notice the label in the corner. lol

I can't believe some older films they want you to pay-to-rent them!

I've taken the storage tub I had put away and bringing it out to watch movies now...just because I get discouraged with streaming service companies.

At some point, I'll get rid of Prime and Amazon altogether and support local businesses as much as possible.

 

I understand. I used to rip DVDs back in the day... I watched the movies via burned DVDs... It was fun...

Now some providers allow you to download movies to save on your drive for local viewing instead of streaming... such as NAS or whatever.

On Prime, the movies/TV shows can be moved around so they can be viewed for free for the members.. For example, you see a movie with prime label for awhile, then they can take the movie out of prime section which they put other movies in Prime... Kinda similar to what Blockbuster team did with the DVDs on the shelves back in the day.

I went to Thailand and got copied DVDs in the early 2000s...some worked, some didn't.

Nowadays, it's good to have certified DVDs to watch without commercials and all the BS associated with today's requirements.

The Hunting Party

 

The Gorge (2025). AppleTV. Good acting and action. Innovative plot device. The romance aspect was predictable and unnecessary - should have been all action like Predator. Overall, a good watch.

Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011). Paramount+. Bad guy getting a nuke bomb storyline is boring. Stunt work is pretty good.

 

Mission Impossible Rogue Nation (2015). Prime. A good one. Stunts were great and most action sequences were not out of this world.

Mission Impossible Fallout (2018). Paramount+. Another good MI with impressive stunt work. Cavill made an excellent villain.
