The Brother From Another Planet (1984). Tubi. That was something a little bit different, but uniquely entertaining.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969). Tubi. A rewatch but never seen the first 20 min or so. A must-see among western films.

 

Dungeons and Dragons, Honor Among Thieves. Netflix. I liked it.

Of these, I’ve only watched Queen’s Gambit and it was very good. Paradise (series 2025) is on my watch list.

Of these, I’ve only watched TED lasso and it is very good. Looks like a S4 is in the works.

 

I'm giving it a shot bc I keep hearing how good it is, but honestly I'm skeptical... I usually don't like movies and shows that revolve around sports.

 

You may be pleasantly surprised. The focus is not on a sport but on the characters. A couple episodes made me shed a tear or two. My favorite character is Roy Kent.

I am on season 3, episode 21 of Lost on Netflix. Crazy but I have seen the last episode when it was on Tv, but never saw the whe series that led up to it. I think it's coming to an end.

 

Let the Right One in (2008). Tubi. Swedish film with English subtitle. A very interesting and peculiar take on the vampire genre. Has some plot holes but good acting and a good watch overall.

First Men in the Moon (1964). Tubi. Brit Sci-Fi interpretation of a HG Wells novel. It felt quite out-dated. I have not watched the 2010 nor 1919 versions.

 

White Lotus season 3 living up to its satirical dark comedy reputation, kind of creepy this season too. Walton Goggins is a national treasure, every role he takes on is gold. Speaking of which, Righteous Gemstones comes back in a couple days for its final season (also HBO/Max). Can't wait for that one

Tried watching the first episode of the new season of 1923 but my wife made me turn it off lol. It hit the trifecta for her (anything involving rape, domestic abuse or child violence and they managed to check the boxes on all three in the first 15 minutes). So I'll have to find time to watch that one solo.

Wow, 1923 sounds rough. It's on my list. Really enjoyed 1883. Haven't tried Yellowstone, doesn't really seem like my kind of show.

I've been disappointed with this season of White Lotus. Feels like 90% filler... I'm getting bored with it. ..And irritated with the political bs.
