Parent of 16 and 15yo boys. At 14 my youngest got caught up in some Snap nonsense. This hits a feeling. This world is crazy.

Primer (2004). Prime. Two engineer-friends make a time machine. I found the film a bit fast-paced and confusing. I am not jumping on the cult-movie bandwagon.

Belle de Jour (1967). Max. French with subtitles. A housewife that doesn’t give it up to her adoring husband decides to turn to prostitution - doesn’t everyone!?

Saw it but not the sequel. Next time travel movie will probably be Time Traveller’s Wife, the 2009 movie, although the series looks good also.

I assume you've seen Outlander (if you like time travel themed shows)? My wife got me into it years ago and then we sorta lost interest around season 5, but I remember the first few seasons being very good

I saw S1 why back when it first streamed free, then paid for a couple of S2 episodes, then stopped. I liked the show for the character development. As you know the time travel science angle is quite lacking. I do want to go back into it.

yeah that's true, it's definitely more 'mystic' than sci-fi themed. It started feeling like it jumped the shark for me around season 5, but I also never got into the book series its based off of. It definitely has a cult following though, probably amongst romance novel readers mostly lol.

Streaming Avengers: Endgame. I’m working my way through MCU series of movies on Disney+. Broke my knee cap Sunday so I can’t really do much else than watch tv and read books right now.

    Ugh, sucks.

Best of luck on the recovery

Just started streaming The Game on Prime. David Fincher starring Michael Douglas. Absolutely love this movie and even after seeing it once, it's a movie I can still watch again and again.

Wife and I have been watching The Doors movie with Val Kilmer, was reminded of it after he passed this week. Hadn't seen it in almost 20 years, probably his best work in my opinion. He literally becomes Jim Morrison, you almost forget you're watching a movie with an actor portrayal.

Call Northside 777 (1948). Internet Archive. A reporter helps prove an innocent man was convicted of killing a cop. Based on an actual event. With James Stewart in a well done film.

Time Traveller’s Wife (2009). Max. A bit different twist to time travel, and with a heavy dose of romance thrown in.

Mauna Kea (2006). Temple Under Siege. OiwiTv. Documentary of locals opposing the use of Mauna Kea, which they consider a sacred location.

Persona (1966). Max. Despite the lack of action, the film kept me glued to my couch. Worth a rewatch.
