Poor Things (2023). Prime. “Furious Jumping” is the name of my new band. Great cast and acting, interesting story line.

Palm Springs (2020). Hulu. A bit too similar to Groundhog day but still found it entertaining.

I watched the original series with him in it a long time ago, so I don't really remember most of it. I don't recall the movie. I'll have to check that out.

My 11 year old son asked about the TV show EMERGENCY! (1972-1977) that I happened to stumble on and was watching the other day. It's playing regularly on one of those retro stations among other retro shows (MASH) from that era. I had told him that it was my favorite show when I was a kid. A few weeks later he ended up PVR'ing it and to my surprise started watching it. Now he's got me hooked too. He started PVR'ing at the end of the last season but it has since just flipped over to the beginning of the first season in 1972. Enjoying the blast from the past from the beginning. PVR makes skipping the horrible commercials a breeze. He's enjoying MASH too.

Emergency! Was one of my favorite shows growing up also. I only just saw the pilot episode last year. The first to or three seasons were streaming on something - I don't recall where but it was interesting seeing how the show began.

Donnie Darko (2001). Hulu. A mind bender - great 80’s soundtrack.

The Truman Show (1998). … good afternoon, good evening, and good night. That was entertaining.

24 Hour Party People (2002). Prime. The music scene in Manchester with Tony Wilson. Entertaining but nothing special.

Kes (1969). Prime. What a sad abrupt ending. Good otherwise, especially considering this was lead actor’s first film.

The Killing (1956). Tubi. Good crime drama flick. What a shitty, and unbelievable, way to lose the stolen $$.

Roman Holiday (1953). Paramount+. I was bored to near tears.

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002). Paramount+. The cast was great, the story line was mildly interesting.

Hawaii Five-O (73-74). Paramount+. Completed S6. The first four episodes are the highest rated, I particularly enjoyed the 2nd one.
Notable guest appearances: Slim Pickens, Sally Kirkland, Pat Morita, Cindy Williams, William Devane.

Dope (2015). Paramount+. Most of the movie was dope, but has a cliche ending. According to the trivial notes, the word ‘bitcoin’ was first mentioned in this movie.

El Cuerpo (The Body; 2012). Tubi. Pretty good crime drama from Spain. I found it easy to figure out who was involved in the crime, but not the why, which was intriguing.

Drive (2011). Tubi. Not a fan of the long pauses, otherwise, a very good action film.

Predestination (2014). Tubi. A bit of a mind bender but a really good flick from the Aussies.
