What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

I don't rely on Rotten Tomatoes too much anymore cause the critic's reviews are usually way too snobby and over critical in a lot of cases. A lot of great shows or movies will have terrible critic reviews but great audience reviews. I guess I could just go off the audience ones.

Your Honor on Showtime was incredible and somehow got obliterated on Rotten Tomatoes by critics, but the audience reviews were mostly positive.

 

Tell me your secrets on prime was pretty good. Finished it up this morning as I am off work for the next 14 days.

 

The new show with Hammond and the guy from Myth Busters is a little disappointing.

 

You're right. I guess that's why I like that dual score on Rotten Tomatoes. Anyways, in the end no one should tell us what 'we' are supposed to like r not. So.... Just because I didn't like "Outside The Wire", doesn't mean that you or someone else shouldn't love it.

 

Even if Rotten Tomatoes shows a 28% audience score with a mushy lettuce head...28 out of a hundred people did like it....

Tory's already got another show lined up "Motor Mythbusters", has a hot Toyota mechanic Faye Hadley co-hosting and a third co-host whos a engineer/racing driver but never heard of him before.

 

I hope its better than this one. He'll be more in his element by the sounds of it.

 

Tori without Grant and Kari is a hard sell. I wonder what Kari Byron is up to?

Just started the brand new Samurai documentary on Netflix. Holy hell pretty good. I only know bits and pieces of this history. Brutal and awesome details if you are even slightly interested in world history.

 

I watched several, it's not too good either. They needed to use the laugh track less and be funny more.

 

Have yet to watch it. Zombie Strippers has my vote for favorite zombie comedy though.

 

A scouts guide to the zombie apocalypse was pretty good.

 

I'm pulling up old shows that I missed the first time. Season 1 of Boardwalk Empire. I dig it. Will probably get bored with it soon though, I'm seeing early signs of "let's squeeze out another season by making the main character engage in self-destructive behavior for no damn reason."

 

Been awhile since I watched that, but I remember it being really good as it went on...then just as it was at it's peak, HBO cancelled it for seemingly no reason that I can recall. It had somewhat of an abrupt ending

 

Ok. so the Sopranos formula. I can power through that then.

 

"Sinner" on Netflix.
Pretty good show, especially 1st season (I'm re-watching it now with wifey).

 

I also vote for 'The Sinner'. I was surprised that this show was originally on USA network. Pretty intense in spots. I am on season 2 now. It's keeping me interested.

 

The Sinner was really good, first season especially. Hope they do a 3rd season, seems like Covid shutting down production for almost a year has left a lot of shows up in the air
