I have TRD PRO 4 runner black wheels on my Tacoma. Nothing seems to clean them well, and they seem to have a film after cleaning. Looked great when I first got them.

A spray bottle and a rag. Magic eraser on the spots that my fat finger won't fit. Mine seem to clean up easily. :notsure:

Rain... I have the bronze and they seem to never get dirty, matte black wheels are a pain to keep clean.

The matte black wheels do not like to stay clean. Even after washing them I notice water and soap marks, and lingering dust. I just accept it and move on. They look fine from afar.

Would be interested is someone else chimes in with a wheel cleaning product that does not leave soapy water marks on them.

I fought this issue myself. Never had this issue with my satin black TRD beadlocks. I clean them with soap/water & then keep them protected with CarPro Hydr02 every 6 weeks. Still look brand new. Tried this routine with the matte black 4Runner wheels & they looked horrible. Dingy black color with gold/brown splotches. I decided to try Dr. Beasley's matte wheel cleanser & wheel seal. Now they look brand new. The matte wheel seal is where it's at. Does an incredible job.

I keep the coated with Carpro Dlux. Adds some depth to them without making a shine. Using this approach for last few years and seems to work well. Easy to clean.

Don’t have your wheels but I have been using P&S Brake Buster for about 2 years now on all my vehicles and it works really well. I have used them on my BMW’s, Charger, Scion and the Tacoma. It has worked great on both the wheels and tires for all of them. I use it straight in a IK Pro Foam 2 sprayer because a gallon is pretty affordable. After I rinse the wheel and tire off I apply a coat of CarPro HydrO2, it keeps them cleaner since the brake dust doesn’t stick to the wheels as much and makes cleaning them next wash easier.
