Haha well my wife missed stepped out of the truck one year on ice she ended up rolling her ankle and in a puddle... I felt so bad.. so I got them so we can take my truck rather then her car everywhere and she can get in and out without worrying about falling again.

Only you know where you drive. When was the last time you almost dragged something and what was it? For me it was gas tank. Then sliders. Next is underbody because I've dragged that transmission crossmember so many damn times it's only a matter of time before I hit my T case or transmission.

Sliders. I dont even off road much, but they give so much piece of mind to the very delicate easily hittable rocker area. Also protect big against door dings (mine stick out quite far)

This. I've gotten some decent scrapes on the crappy stock front skid, but nothing horrible so far. I did sliders first, and have hit those multiple times on trails here in CO. Recently got a steel rear bumper as well, but only after properly smashing up the stock one wheeling (and getting rear-ended).
