What ATF do you guys use? Toyota atf is crazy

    You can use the Valvoline Maxlife. Its good stuff.

    I use mobil 1 synthetic trans fluid in my 00 prerunner.....drained w/e was in there at 150k miles.....I now have almost 215k on it with no problems.....it was like $9 quart or so

    Does anyone have issues with reading the dip stick? I always pull it out and the stick is covered 3/4ths the way up :confused:. I messured how much i took out and put the same amount back in but id like to still use the dip stick that seems usless as of now

    BTW, Supertech is Valvoline. Ordered online it's 18 bux a GALLON. for synthetic.
    In fact, if I remember right the max-life is too.

    Thats what i got, valvoline max life full synthetic. I am parcial to valvoline but my dad runs supertech everything and loves it. Never had an issue with it. Id rather stay valvoline tho i think its better :duel:

    I buy the cheapest Dex III on the shelf at O'Reilly's. I do a drain and fill a couple times a year, or after every trip to the drag strip. I beat the crap out of the auto trans.

    I used the valvoline extended life stuff people mentioned here. So far so good.
