What batteries are compatible with this electric bike?

    Lifted on 275/70/17
    The biggest difference is the 48v is Lithium ion. A much better batter. The 12v are lead acid. Both will work if you use 4-12v but I think the li-ion will last longer.

    Can I use the 12v lead acid batteries on the 48v conversion kit?

    That kit says it requires no less than 11.6AH. The 12v batteries are rated at 12AH so it would be close if the batteries are accurate. Golf carts use mostly lead acid batteries so I dont see why not. However you may want 12v batteries closer to 14-15AH. I would get ahold of Batteries plus to find out the best options for longevity and best range. I know a little but not an expert. :hattip:
