I am in the market for rock sliders for my TRD sport DCSB. I have checked out RCI and CBI sliders and both are around the same price for the black powder coat style.

Let me know what you guys are doing! And pictures are appreciated!

They are very nice, and very well attached.
    Sprayed them with bedliner.

Did you order them bare metal and spray them yourself?

whatever you get, if you are going to use them as true sliders, they will get scraped up on the bottom, will need to touch up form time to time. I sprayed my own as well.

Yeah I wouldn't bother paying extra for powder coating, unless you only want them for looks. But if you do actually use them for their intended purpose, that expensive powder coating you paid for will come right off. Better to just paint them yourself with a rattle can, or bed-liner or something easy to just touch up when you need to.

We have a pair on each shop truck and went wheeling Friday and Saturday. We beat the living crap out of them, no dents, damage or flex.

SOSConcepts here. Well-built. I sprayed then sand textured, then sprayed a few more coats (satin Hammerite paint)

I'll have Mobtown soon. Just waiting on delivery. I think after some research, i'll be using some VHT epoxy spray to coat mine.

Just don't use rust oleum. That's what I used, it sucks. Skid plates and control arms, I used PH1 epoxy. Hard as a nail
