I need a MAF sensor for my 98 2.4l truck. There are so many brands I don't know what to get, I want a good one. Can anyone help?

Not sure of the non OE options for a 2.4, but at a glance I would probably go with Hitachi. You are probably good as long as you avoid the cheap Chinese crap, I am pretty sure some of those just have a resistor in 'em...

Thank you. It's crazy, the shop gets $210 for the exact same hitachi part which they get from Napa, Napa gets $150 if you buy it from them, and I found it on Amazon for $53! No wonder you can't affordanything. And the shop wants $130 to install it and test drive. Seems like you should get a break somewhere! Anyway thanks for the info, it'll be here in 2 days, not a bad wait and even I can intall it in a couple of minutes.

It's always cheaper to DIY, shops make money on parts and they may pay the same price you do.
