The cheapest 89 octane I can find. Usually, it's Kwik Trip or PDQ.

So you guys don't think there's much of a difference between the different gas companies?

I think there is. I mean most the companies get the fuel from the same place and then add their own "additive mixtures" to it to make it their own brand. I personally think that the bigger companies put more time/money into finding the best mixture. I havent researched it at all but thats just my thoughts on it.

Gas prices are about the same here in central TX, any where from 1.99 to 2.15 depending on what part of town you’re in. The quality and price of gas usually depends on your geographical region and not so much on the particular company. Yet, if I have to pick one I would go with Chevron as well.

I have experienced performance gains going up from 87 to 89, but I haven't really had any problems with any brand, except for the occasional malfunctioning of the sensor at PDQ which stops the pump.

I actually frequent the Wal-Mart or Sam's Club gas stops (the cheapest), but I prefer Chevron, Shell, or Texaco since they all use the same additive in their fuel for a clean burn and a clean injection system. :)

No I do not have a supercharger, I just want to run good gas through my truck. Plus I also get a little more (not much) performance/economy. 91 octane here is 81.9 cents a liter. Which works out to about $3.10 per gallon.

How about Hess Gas. Any feedback on the quality or is all the gas the same, just a different name.
