Must be why they are usually the cheapest, at least by me. I usually use HESS or Shell, HESS because it is right up the street from my house and is the cheapest around, or Shell because it is conveniently located right by the grocery I usually go to after work.

Hess Corporation is an integrated energy company with operations in 23 countries. Hess is in Egypt, Iraq, Libya, China, Algreria, Russia.................There is not an oil company that does not use middle easrern oil in someway.

Also there is no such thing as middle grade gas refiners make two grades and the two grades are mixed at the pump as you are filling up. so if you see 5 people getting gas and all of them are getting the low octane then you will get a higher octane middle grade. the middle grade sucks off of both tanks for the middle grade.

Exxon, because the one close by my house has a nice touchless car wash. Wash is $2 cheaper with fuel purchase...

Kroger and QT, always seem to be the cheapest and get good discounts from shopping at Kroger most of the time.

I use Pemex its the only option available and the truck runs better than it ever did in the USA

I think is the fact that they probably don't use all the additives and no ethanol

However I probably have a 1/4 of sediment in the bottom of the tank
