What Brand of Gas Do You Use?

man i am paying way too much for gas, it is almost 3.00 a gallon in las vegas.

 

Phillips 66...they support the Big 12.

 

My 07 has had nothing but Chevron since new.

 

I use gas. Yep.

 

Ever heard of a placebo?

Valero, because I make it. Or anything cheap except CITGO, have not and will not use

#1 choice is Chevron, but going with Shell because it's a block away and I rarely hear anything negative about these two brands. It costs more and I put in 91, but screw it. I've read all the posts for pros and cons and just going with something I am confident the truck will be happy with.

 

I generally use Cheveron but if the 76 station is cheaper than i go there. Basically there the same Gas! Owned by the same Corp.

 

Aloha Gas regular 87-octane here in Kona, HI for $3.85/gal.

 

The only premium gas that consistantly gets me better gas milage over anyone else's regular is Exxon. No clue why. Shell premium didnt help milage at all. Weird but ran several tanks from various stations to test.

 

does shell premium have ethanol added to it?

 

Its all 10% ethanol in Texas.

 

Follow the gas truck and see where they get the gas. You will find All brands of trucks filling up. All companies buy from each other depending on the price of the additives to make the gasoline. Just because it says Shell, Valero or Exxon does not mean they made it. I have used Shell in my Harley and got 45mpg and the next tank from another Shell I got less than 25mpg.

 

I only use chevron

 

BP only. Its going down here was 3.43 now 3.29

 

I have no preference. I drive my Taco 1200 miles a week, and when I get under 1/4 tank, I take the next offramp and fill up. I guess that I should be more picky, but I'm just not.

 

Shell, no complaints here.
