Sony A7Rii and a Nikon D850. Shot semi pro for years and have a huge collection of Nikon lenses. The Sony system can't be beat for travel.

Canon R6 and mostly using a 50mm 1.8. Dirt cheap lens that produces great images. Also have a 16-35 2.8 with the adapter.

I love my nifty-fifty lens. It's my go-to lens for any kind of portrait lens. Least amount of distortion and closest to the view of the human eye.
I shoot with a Canon 5DMk4. In my lens set is a nifty fifty, an 85mm f1.4, a 24-70 telephoto, and my 70-200 f1.4 USM 2. I also have a doubler if needed, but usually only add that in for the super-long shots.

Haha, it is a great lens. I love using it. Just kinda hard to use it in studio for portrait work. When standing 10 feet from them all I can see is the lone freckle filling the viewfinder. haha

I've done a mod or two
Depends on what I'm doing, wheeling I take a Canon M5, it's nice and compact. Battery life leaves something to be desired compared to my other cameras in the past though.

But call me a creature of habit or whatever... I still drag out the Rebel T4i for car shoots, I dunno why.

My always-with-me-camera is a Ricoh GR (original version). Just love this camera.

Have a Nikon D700 which I still use when I want excellent quality or need to use off-camera flashes (Nikons flash system is amazing...have three SB-900s).

Also use a Panasonic GX8 which is a versatile camera but the m43 format has limitations as far as quality but still very usable.

And Sigma DP2 and DP3 both with the Foveon sensors which are phenomenal but these cameras require a lot of effort and patience to use but the results can be worth it.

    y0 I love photography threads.

Rocking a Nikon D7200 for the last couple of years but I don't love it as much as I wanted to. I was more consistent with my D40.

Same Nikon 35mm prime f/1.8 for both pics:

IF you are open to inputs and suggestions, the second photo I personally would have used either a light or lights and/or reflector to bring up more lighting th the back of the car, and the barriers in the front. It looks too artificial with just the single, hard light to the side.

Was all natural light. Too cheap to buy off camera flashes that actually work. I also took it like 9 years ago lol.

Won a Sony A7R3 a few years ago with the 16-35mm G-master. Also have a few other lenses, definitely like the camera.

I do miss the shutter sound from my old 6D though!

I'm finally getting around to dusting off my Old, and I mean Old Pentax Me Super 35mm. It's in pristine condition, but I haven't used it in many, many years. I just ordered 3 rolls of fuji 400 color film. Can't believe how expensive 35mm film is these days. I've been doing a lot of reading and looking for a Pentax Digital camera that I can use my older lenses with, but only with manual focus available. When I finally get around to buying a digital camera, going to give the Super to one of my nephews to play with. I just have to decide which lenses I'm going to keep which is a tough decision, so you experts help me decide. Here's a list. I have a cheap Macro zoom lens, that I'm going to send my nephew, I don't think it's worth keeping.

    1. Asahi SMC Pentax-M 1:3.5 28mm
    2. Asahi SMC Pentax-M 1:1.4 50mm
    3. Asahi SMC Pentax-M 1:3.5 135mm
    4. Asahi SMC Pentax-M 1:4 200mm

I have the Nikon D810, which I love. I keep a Nikon 85mm (1.8?) attached to it. I have a Nikon 50mm but don’t like it. I need a wider lens. Really want the Sigma 50mm 1.4. Suggestions?
