Haha yeah, I love it! I already want a wide-angle lens. Plan on going in the mountains tomorrow!

By the way I just edited that last pic and it came out so much better

Just got my D7000 today and should have my Tokina 12-24mm lens next week. Upgrading from a D40 and 35mm F1.8 and 55-300 F4.5-5.6.

Also picked up an AW100 a few weeks ago for when I don't have the room, weight, or desire to carry a DSLR.

I have had a lot of slr cameras and the Canon 60D is the best. They sell it at Costco with a 18-200 mm zoom that is incredible. I use it in the grandstand to take closeups of baseball and football action, as well as, nature shots.

I took this shot a couple of days ago in the desert near Bend, Oregon before the storm.

First nice camera purchase for me. I dig it but have so much to learn about it and photography in general. Learning new hobbies.....that's the fun stuff.

That would be a Tamron (states the obvious) SP 10-24mm

    I also purchased a Nikon 50mm prime and a Nikon 70-300mm

Kinda wish I would have bought the Nikon 18-200mm but jumped before I did all of my research.

All this stuff does more than I was ready for, but I'm up for the challenge.

Nice, I'm supposed to receive my Tokina 12-24mm on Tuesday. Can't wait to get it and start playing. How do you like the 50mm prime? I have the 35mm and it's my favorite right now.

Its like the bear is posing for the photo. Pretty cool to see a grizzly in the wild.

You guys are going to love that camera. Word of advice. Save your money and buy the good glass for it. The camera can shoot better than the kit lenses that come with it.

    Current kit for now:

    D7100
    16-85
    35 1.8
    70-300

Just upgraded bodies and happy with these lenses for now but could definitely use something faster in the future. It's a hard compromise for me since this is just one hobby of many. I don't want $2,000, 5lb lenses, but I don't want something that'll underwork that new body either. I'm pretty content so far. We'll see if any lenses pop out to me, but it's more the size than the cost for me that deters me from all the 2.8 options ha.
