Why is a travel trailer a waste if he uses it? The ones that are a waste are the ones that only get used occasionally, if at all.

We've made a lot of great memories with ours and I'd much rather live out of one than a hotel room if given the option.

If you don't want to pay for a hotel out of your own pocket, then why would you want to pay even MORE to be uncomfortable in a crappy camper, and even worse, have to STORE the damned thing somewhere when you're done using it?

Ok, so... $30-$40,000?? Whether that is true or not, I don't know. And frankly, don't care.

But lets put it this way; when you're DRAGGING a camper around, how much more FUEL are you going to be burning? Now leave the camper behind and just drive a nice relaxing drive rather than the white knuckle experience of pulling a huge empty box on tiny wheels that flies around in the wind, and take the extra money you WOULD be paying for fuel, and spend it on a HOTEL. Hmm.... And of course when you GET where you need to go, you can't just park a camper anywhere. You need to deal with electric and shitwater. So you're going to be RENTING a parking space. And you'll have to deal with being stuck in a crappy camper instead of a nice hotel room with a working bathroom where you can take a SHOWER. So forgetting about the cost of BUYING the camper, you SAVE MONEY with a hotel room, have a much more pleasant drive to the hotel, and a much more pleasant time STAYING in the hotel.
