Made my own old school FJ grille for my 3rd gen using the original bezel, a $70 CCG Grille from eBay, and an original TOYOTA emblem I found on eBay for $25. Used some 3M automotive adhesive to put it all together. Pleased with the results, thought I just noticed some of the adhesive dripped down a bit before completely drying and it is visible. Is there a trick to remove this? It's hard no almost like hot glue... I tried some acetone with no luck.

I'd just hide it with paint. Anything that will soften the adhesive will probably ruin the paint and plastics. Maybe trim it with a razor, then paint over.
    Looks good tho!

Goo be gone? Or use a hair dryer on it and see if it can be softened enough to pull off

Trim it back with a razor and then clean the residue with WD 40.

A solvent will work without hurting the paint. Might be best to use a razor to cut most off and just use the solvent to get the little bit off with a rag, so your not soaking and scrubbing for a long period of time which could start to discolor something. Mineral spirts would probably work too just be careful if using that as its a little stronger than prep solvent
