2010 Tacoma, 4.0L with Magnuson super charger.
ISSUE: When super charger kicks in at 65mph while running in 4th and drive the engine shuts down to limp mode until I stop and reset the ecm then returns back to normal running conditions until I repeat again.
I never had a problem until first of the year while climbing a steep highway grade after reaching 65 is when I first experienced this issue fyi, the code are reading are PO456
Update 05 16 2025 replaced MAF, replaced purge valve hose that was cracked and still goes into limp mode when accelerating to 65 mph in 4th and drive mode. Called Magnuson engineer he suggested that there may be a air bubble in the intercooler suggested a vacu-fill that my next step and has anyone experienced limp mode on a 4.0L with a supercharger?
