Ordered the 550 mk2 20” bar. Need to grab an extra chain or 2. Any recommendations?

I run all Sthl saws(for no particular reason). I've got a MS260 with 20" bar, an old 044 on a 25", and a MS250 for lending to friends and trimming. I'm just a landowner so really 3 saws is overkill, but I like tinkering with machines. The 250 has muffler ported, the MS260 is stock, and the 044 got a slightly higher compression barrel/piston setup and a light port cleanup when I rebuilt it a few years ago.

Our saws are lucky if they get 2 seasons.
I open our rivers in the spring to paddling and do weekly river clearing/clean up - removal of dead down trees plugging up our river.

We use the gambit of saws, however my boss prefers husqvarna. And our newest saw revs right to peek right away - amazing power.

Lose no... we recover them... getting them going if they were running when they went under is a different story.

A little reminder for you guys to stay on your toes, cleaning up from the hurricane and a spar grazed my back today, it hung on the forks that we were using to push it away from the house and the operator didn’t have it in a high enough gear to push it off quickly.
The forks became a pivot point and the bottom of the spar popped up and back as I was getting out of the way, I got very lucky that it grazed my back instead of hitting my chest and pinning me into the fence.

Glad you're dodged that accident with little more than a scratch. Chainsaws are deemed the most dangerous tool for a reason and it's not all the saw blade. So many other bad things can happen with the tree itself like falling when not intended, tripping on stuff trying to get out of the way, barberchairing a tree (scares the hell out of you), etc.

Recently purchased a Stihl 12'extension pole saw and the Ms 170. Purchased a Husqvarna 45 and weed eater in 1988 and they still run. Wife can run the 170 since its small and light.

I think I bought it earlier this year after having to borrow chainsaws after one too many storms. It has cut some sizeable trees for a saw of its size.
