    Best thing is here on the mountain at my cabin I'm far far away from civilization. Total freedom to do whatever I want up here. I host a few TW meets each year up here. We wheel our yotas, shoot, ride atvs, grill ect...always a great time.
    Don't mind the jeep, my uncle stopped by lol.

    Yea man, i see you're in Pa. I'm in WV 25422, just over the Md line. I've had a couple Pa members make the trip and stay for the weekend either camp on my property or crash in the quest bedroom. @LooseNut was one. I always mention my cabin meets on the Md thread. Back on topic of chainsaws I recently bought a Stihl ms170 on sale for $149, great little saw to have while on the trails.

    I have a 12" Craftsman battery powered saw which works OK. It's convenient to carry for light work or to trim a branch hanging into a trail. It does leak bar oil though, which is a pain. I don't have any experience with gas powered Craftsman saws.

    I also have a 20" Stihl gas powered saw as my main saw. As others have said, I'd recommend either a Stihl or Husqvarna. Pay more upfront and take care of it.

    I have a Stihl MS 170 with a 16" bar and a MS 362 C-M with a 25" bar. Both are great saws.

    One of the farm supply places in town had a couple 500i's in stock with a 32" bar for $1399

    A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
    I would trust a big retailer like Ace -ONLY IF - I knew their techs were totally competent with servicing/repairing Stihl saws and other Stihl stuff. This I know to be true with my country dealer in Chamois Mo.
    Actually I was surprised when I heard a few years back, that Ace was getting the Stihl line!
