I have a 2000 Tacoma with the bucket seats. For whatever reason the first year weather tech or husky have digital fit mats are 2001. Was there a change in the layout or is this because some of the 2000 tacoma still had the bench. I currently have the AVM mats and I am moderatly happy with them but would love some digital fits ones.

I know this answer is out there somewhere but I just can't seem to get a rock solid answer.

bench and 60/40 bench were used in all years, the outer mounting for the seat was the same location.

I know my 04 has the retention hook built into the carpet, not sure if the '00 and lower have it? the DC is different than reg/xc as it has the rear vents next to center console (@mlcc photo shows how he cut the bottom right of the mats to fit)

otherwise the shape is the same since the cab is identical

I can see no difference between my wife's 1998 and my 2004. Both have bucket seats and automatic transmissions.
