Around X-mas time the isles get pretty crowded with those pop up tree lots.o_O It can be quite the scary experience trying to valet my truck.

I was looking at a wrap or plastic-dip so it would not be permanent in case I changed my mind, or I may go aftermarket.

Thanks for the tip @splitbolt . I've been using a trim restorer off of Amazon to revive the black, particularly the roof trim. Have to do it every couple of months.

Try it...you'll be impressed. I was able to find it at Walmart.
Follow the prep directions and definitely use it sparingly for an even finish. It doesn't really absorb into the plastic like most products. If you have 'wet lines' it will cure that way. Moderate temps so you have time to spread the product before it starts to set.

I vote black. It always seems to contrast nicely with most colors and give the truck a more rugged appearance.

I’ve never really understood the concept of painted flares on an off-road oriented truck. Isn’t the purpose of flares to provide the body paint an extra level of protection against tire spray and flying debris? So, if you ever do anything off pavement, why would you want them painted?

I live down a mile long stone lane & painted flares would be destroyed in short order. I’ve found with the black flares, most marks can be fixed or significantly reduced with a heat gun and your choice of detailing protectant.

I vote to keep the black fender flares, and change out the bumper caps with matte black (or dip them). I love how it looks on my inferno OR.

I’ve never seen it done before but a two-tone 3rd gen would be nice. For example, an MGM taco with cement flares and front fascia

I did a test wrap, I didn’t buy wide enough wrap which pissed me off. The carbon fiber looks kinda silver
