    I have a 2.4GHz Aluminum Macbook, :D

Just wondering what all of you have to post on TW, not including work computers. :)

If you can, include the basic specs. :)

I won't get too specific since I am too lazy to look up everything.

    ASUS Motherboard
    8 gig ram
    AMD dual core processor
200 gig hd for OS(Vista Home Premium)
1 terabyte hd for everything else
Antec Plus 80 certified power supply
    Nvidia 4850 graphics card
    Hauppage dual tv tuner card
    LG Blu Ray drive
    Coolermaster Centurion case

Just the basics. Very fast machine and a great Media Center PC. Trying to kill my cable so this machine currently acts as my DVR.

    Heck yeah!

For sure I thought that since you have a 9800 that you gamed, but having dual monitors draws so much juice also, not including the applications.

    Warning: Nerd-Out Imminent! Take Shelter!

Self-built PC based around an Athlon 64x2 processor. This rig was originally built in 2004 around an Athlon 64. Since then, the base has remained the same but the processor and GPU have been swapped, and RAM has been added.

The motherboard on this particular machine is maxed out at this point, so in another year or so, it's going to be time to build another, but I'm happy with the lifespan I've gotten out of it. $1700 in parts for a PC that has lasted over 5 years is fine by me.

For those particularly interested, the current guts are:

    Athlon 64x2 4200+ (2.0Ghz) OC'd to 4800+ (2.5Ghz)
2GB Mushkin DDR400 (yes, you read that correctly)
    Nvidia 8800GT 512MB (stock 625/900/1570) OC'd to 700/975/1760
    SeaGate 160GB HDD x2

All locked up in a Cooler Master Centurion 5 with high performance Silverstone fans slaved to a fan controller. All the OC'd clockspeeds are 100% stable and air-cooled.

For those wondering, yes, I game, though not as much as I used to. Careers and other interests (mainly mountaineering and now off-roading) take more and more of my time away from PCs these days.
