    Does anyone know what connector is on the 12VDC to 120VAC power inverter that is located under the center console in 3rd gen Tacomas?
    Specifically curious about the 12 pin connector, not the 2-pin connector.
    Attached to the post is a picture of the vehicle-side harness connector and the receptacle

    @caribe makaira
    Any chance there’s a generic (non Toyota) part number for this?
    Also curious about the receptacle side. Looking buy the receptacle either as board-mount (soldered to a PCB) or a wire-to-wire version would be okay too.

    Also, thanks for the part number and fast reply. If you don’t have the other information still really appreciate your help!

    Also looking for a part number for the terminals (pins that go inside the connector)

    Were you looking to mod the setup?

    I bought an outlet for inside and the pnp harness, and iirc it’ll make it 400w all the time…….one of the hundred boxes sitting around waiting to be installed!

    Yes, looking to make a plug and play (pnp) harness for adding an outlet in the cab. Cutting and splicing into the stock harness is always an option, but a plug and play harness is way easier and undo-able if needed.
    @helix66 What harness did you buy? Got a link or pictures?

    Sorry for the delay, I have the same one from guild. The harness is made by redside iirc.

    I thought you knew about that and was looking to do something more. I still haven’t installed mine yet….along with a hundred other things.

    Just remove the two power pins (5 Blue & 11 White) and solder on some extra wire to the console outlet, might add the ground as well if you wish; then reinsert the pins. Unless you really do want this to be Plug n Play, but if it is for your own use... this would be easy and what I did.

    What I am curious about is that Black wire on pin 9 - it is a gold contact and comes from the Engine Control Module. Being Gold tells me it is sensitive to changes in resistance and Toyota does not want it to corrode.

    Edit: wire colors
