Has anybody else had this issue? My clutch pedal gets stuck when it's cold. About halfway up, the pedal sticks for a second and then slingshots up the rest of the way. I wasn't gonna worry about it, but I saw someone on a Jaguar forum saying it's the slave cylinder. Any ideas?

It is the clutch accumulator. After I removed mine the problem went away. There is an extensive thread about the accumulator removal.

Yup, clutch accumulator and dirty fluid, delete the accumulator can be done with a $3 coupler and some bending of the hard lines (my route) or a $60 delete kit. Makes clutch feel much better and reduces slipping considerably.

I'm pretty sure you can do the dremel mod on the accumulator for basically $0. I've got it planned when it's warmer than 15F.

I know where you're coming from. I've had my car parked for a week because I refuse to change the headlight bulb in this weather.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Ditto for me when it comes to installing my seat covers & brake controller (no garage, heated or not).

You could take the seats out and install the seat covers in the warm house. ;)

That's my plan, BUT it's too damn cold (+3.7°F) to do that AND the brake controller is going under the seat and will require way too much time R&Ring other stuff to put the control knob where I want it. It'll keep. I'll stay inside where it's warm.

The 2nd Gens had a two or three different line routings. On the 3rd Gen, there is not enough line slack to reform them and use a coupler.

I assume this just involves cutting the accumulator open to where the spring falls out? But how does it seal after?
