What could I get for an AR in this market?

Everyone NEEDS at least one.

Plus a gun and ammo will only increase in value in these crazy times. The shit you put on your truck will just be eye candy.

 

you aint wrong, but i have some other boom sticks laying around. The way I look at it i would get better use and pleasure out of it on my truck then sitting in my gunsafe.

With ammo the way it is now, all my guns have been sitting in the safes. I have multitudes, but sure as hell aint gonna replace it at a buck plus a round.

If I were a newbie looking to get in the AR market now (I'm not) I'd much rather have a Bushy and 1200 rounds than a Colt an no ammo.

 

Couple days ago Palmetto State Armory had complete uppers and lowers in stock. Just a bit over $600 for a complete rifle.

Never had one of their lowers, but had abought a half dozen of their uppers. Never had a problem.

 

Love PSA. I currently have two ARs from them and I sold two others a while back. None have ever given me a problem. Great bang for the buck.

OP, I would sell the ammo separate ~$500-750.

Put the rifle up for ~$1000, it will sell. Try armslist, deal in a public place (range/gunstore) and require your buyer to have a cpl/ccw.

going rate here in Northern VA at the moment matter of fact you cant get a bare lower under $175 bucks....

 

That was no shit! Gun show was selling them at $100 bucks I was sitting on the tailgate of my truck selling them for $75 each in the parking lot sold 1 case (100) in less than 40 minutes

 

shipping/transfer fees and now tax on what your state/county is can be $$$$$ better off finding a good dealer and buying local...
