Hello world! So, I’m having a bit of an issue with my track
So when I bought this truck it had no issues whatsoever it’s been a great 3 years .. up until ~1yr ago it started acting a bit odd. Let me explain, whenever I drove the truck the whole stereo system would shut off. It would do it intermittently until it would happen and just stay off periodically. But not only that, so when this happened the dome lighting and my TCS would turn off as well. ALL AT THE SAME TIME. This is very odd because the only time it seems to come off and actually work is when it’s super cold (I live in Boulder CO where it snows almost 7 months out of the year) aand we’ve had snow in May.
Thanx for reading lady’s & getns

I’d guess you have a bad wire somewhere, power or ground, might be pinched or worn through the outer insulation.

First things first, I’d look at the battery. Probably not an issue since you don’t mention other issues. But the terminals shouldn’t be covered in white acid boogers. Also if you have a multimeter, test for good ground continuity. No disrespect intended, if you don’t own a meter or know how to test for continuity, you’re over your head and would need assistance.

Some of the guys have access to wiring diagrams & will be able to help chase down which wire to probe.

To rule out as step 1:
Open the hood and check for chewed wires as critters love warm engines. Pull the plastic engine cover during your visuals.
Also pull the cabin filter behing glove box and check for critters that may have entered that way.
