Funny you should mention it. (also, now that you mentioned it, you have to post garage pics too)

My life has the strangest timing some times.

Garage was built a little over 2 years ago, I had planned on a lift from the word go.
One of those things I never got around to (because poor and other cool shit to buy). Have managed to get along just fine without one.
    Until this week.
So I pay someone to do my clutch because I am too old/lazy/bad shoulder to hump a transmission on my back on a truck that is a PITA to get high enough in the air to get it out from under (4x4s are so much easier in that regard).

I had postponed a client who called right after my truck blew up (phone rang right as I was jacking my truck up to inspect it), I reached back out to him today to schedule him and he was asking about what broke on my truck (older guy, old school car guy).

He asked if I had a shop do it or if I did the work myself, I told him I sent it to a shop due the lack of a lift.
His response "Oh, I wish I had known you were looking for one, my 4 post has been in the way ever since I sold my last hotrod and I want to get rid of it. Take a look at it while you are here and make me an offer, I will probably not say no".

Going to look at it tomorrow.

Here is the shitbox habitat in all its glory (don't mind the hanger queen Buick/shelf) and the mess in the back. I was moving crap around to clean the floor. It is also before I used proper offroad truck guy technique to hang the new shop tv (last pic)

Ain't nothing wrong with that. I can't even get my truck in my garage, door is too low. Old houses are fun

I feel ya, been there, done that.
Garage door at the old house had a dent in it from my roof rack.
And this house had a none car garage when we bought it. Had all my tools in a shipping container and my trucks outside getting eaten by rats for abt 6 years while we got our stuff together enough to build the garage.

Any attempt to raise the height of it will mean I forfeit my loft which is a lot of good storage space. Trade off, I suppose. Maybe when I move out of this area I'll be a little more picky, but in 2004 I needed a place to live and not get sucked back into the rent thing
