5100's set at 1.75, 1.5 in. AAL, 265/75/16 Cooper ST tires.
In ms we call those velvet tail rattlers but I think most of the sub species have that black at the end of the tail when they are young I guess. That and copperheads and cotton mouth are very common here and specially copper heads they on the porch quite often.

Me and this girl went to the lake on a hot day not that long ago, pretty secluded place, got their via tacoma. We walk down to the shore and there's a group of mexicans huddled around a baby rattler probably less than a foot long. I asked the guy how he killed it and in his hand was a tiny pocket knife with blood on the blade. crazy mofo, i've grown up around killing rattlers with nothing less than a 9mm, not a f***ing pocket knife haha. Sounds like a death wish to me haha.

Not to be a dick, but snakes are venomous. Frogs and whatnot are poisonous.

Baby rattlesnakes are more dangerous because they cannot control their venom-you (or whatever it bites) get the full load. Potency is the same whether it's an adult or juvenile.

^^Dang it, I was gonna say that, and sound all smart!! Foiled again! But seriously, that's why I won't play with the smaller snakes down here, just the bigger ones. Well, then there's the Moccasins...you don't play with them, so much as they play with you, lol.

Be glad you don't live in Australia. Turns out there's a lot to be afraid of there-my buddy said they've the most number of poisonous creatures there (not including the crocs and dingos)...

Can't claim anything, bought from Fish08 and leaving it like it sits. Perfect!
Never fun to come up on a deadly animal. This little guy was blocking the path to my fishing hole a few weeks ago. My little boy was the first to see him  As it turns out they're no match for a 20g lol Glad you got him! Bonus man points for using a blow gun!

    Chopped mud-flaps (yup, I'm hardcore)
Blowgun from 5-ish yards. The dirt is from the shovel that was supposed to remove his head to finish him off. Turns out the shovel wasn't sharp enough.

I am blaming the weather. The nights have been getting chilly and the garage stays nice and warm. I haven't found any evidence of rodents. But I am replacing the weatherstrip on the garage doors next week (mostly for cold air, but it should make it more difficult for rodents to get in also).

Lol, blowgun probably gave him a better chance at getting away. Never tried shooting such a small target with one.
