They want 300 and some dollars and I'm not paying that. What is needed other then oil change realistically?
    Not doing the cabin filter
    Grease and tighten propeller shaft?
    Brake service?
    -
    Any input?

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Change the rear end and tranny oil to synthetic (you won't believe how filthy the rear end oil is)

That sounds about right because I just did my 16k service. It was around $300 as well.

    24 Months, or 32000 km.

    Maintenance service $124.95
    Brake service $84.95
    Lubricate propellor shaft $18.95
    Replace cabin air filter $49.95
    Tighten propeller shaft bolts Incl.

    Est. total $278.80

If light shines through the filter, they leave it. But if you check around (link not handy) you can buy a few for a cheap price online, and change it yourself.

See your supplement guide for more info (attached). And look out for monkeys... this was brought up at the last meet... see you should have been there.

So... You basically get a $125 oil change and a couple minutes of a tech kicking the tires

$50 for a cabin filter change is laughable, so is $20 to grease the drive line.

Basically, this is why I don't go to stealerships...

Yeah we get it without lube up here. That goes the same with our cell phone/data costs as well. I guess it's a decent trade off for decent medical.

"check valve clearance audibly"...What does that even mean?

My 09 has 225k km on it I've changed the diff oil twice, once when I got it and once when we did gears and lockers, and I'm gonna do the tcase and trans whenever I stop being lazy and put my truck on the hoist. If you wheel a lot move your rear breather up, and change the oil out every year or two, do regular oil changes etc it's pretty basic stuff. I blow my cabin air filter out after trips which seems to keep it good longer
