Yeah basically. Just been delay after delay after delay. I'm trying to cut out of work a little early today so I can get it back on its wheels and turned around in the garage...

Adam pointed me in their direction and Kurt/Bryce have been awesome. Their knowledge of these cruisers is pretty impressive. Give them a call and let them work on a build for you. They go through everything to make sure they get you the right parts. And if it's wrong they will fix it. Highly recommended!

Yeah. We sorted out the bent section when we built the bumper by relief cutting and plating which worked very well. But I still have some bulging that I intend to remove and then plate over with some frame reinforcement plates. I'm sure it's good as it is now but I'd rather just beef up what needs it before it develops into more frame flexing back there. It's all behind the rear suspension so it's not throwing off any geometry.9bc97f974b70e8930983f75dca888de3_4e9776e5ff3ce1a263abd6a7312226259bc809ee.jpg

I do my best to point people to places that actually help, and give information that's actually accurate. Unfortunately, there's a large percentage of this forum that feel like if it's not something they want to hear it must be BS. Oh well. Not claiming to know everything by any stretch, but 25+ years of doing this crap has taught me a thing or two.

Glad Kurt and crew are taking care of you.

I've had a busy week working on my 80. Finished up both axles, new radiator, water pump, hoses, belts, front main seal, oil pump cover O ring, distributor O ring, rotors, brakes, and I bought a used ARB bull bar off craigslist, needs painted but overall good condition. Found a set of TRD wheels on craigslist tonight, trying to work a deal. The guy said he would take $700 for them, I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on these.

I'm going to have the exhaust worked on this week and then going to order my OME 2.5" heavy suspension. After that it's some 315/75/16's.........hopefully on the TRD wheels I have attached. Only thing I'm going to do to the wheels is powder coat the rings black.
