Got me all paranoid about my bolts from the NorCal section.. Sent 45 mins under my rig.. Thanks.... Everything was tight.. Also something i am still getting use too... Not seeing a springs on the front end.. Using a Torsion System so all you have are shocks in the front and a true 4-link in the rear.. And it looks like a can tweak my Torsten bar a whole bunch.. Makes me think I can get a true 33 with out getting aftermarket suspension. Which would make me happy

Here is the rear globe... I adjusted and my rear sits ~1.5 inches higher in the rear.. You can actually see it didn't take much... A whole half inch.. Also I did NOT have to add ACH fluid. Still waiting on the stream tech, and my BFGs to do the front. Butt on the front you have to make the Nut smaller as you can see in the second picture.. But you have to do it to both sides on the front and it will need an alignment.

I bought another Land Cruiser a few weeks ago, 1993 locked, FZJ80. I have to rebuild the front knuckles, passenger side is leaking. After that it should be in good running condition with 170,000 miles. Long term plans are ARB front winch bumper, sliders, Slee or 4x4 Labs rear bar with tire carrier and ladder, 2.5 heavy OME lift, snorkel, roof rack, and I need to recover the front seats. Also going to find a set of 16" TRD 6 lug fake beadlocks wheels and some 315/75/16 tires. I'm sure it will take a while but I'm in no hurry. Probably re-gear it to 4.88 when I get around to the 315's. This is my 7th Land Cruiser but this one is a keeper since I don't have to drive it everyday. I bought a 100 Series last year and really enjoyed it but I've missed my 80 since I sold my last one about 4 years ago. I've been looking for an 80 for the last 6 months and almost pulled the trigger on several but I'm glad I held off. I just got all the parts to do the axles so I plan on starting next week, also going to do the PHH bypass instead of replacing the short hose. By the time I get done, I'll be glad I got a good deal on it up front because I'm sure I wind up spending another $8000 - $10,000 on it with the mods I want to do. When I get a couple kids out of college, I may even do a 4.7 V-8 swap.

This is belongs to Lee over on MUD, he has a complete build thread on there. He took it to Slee and they did the swap. This one has the wheels I want to put on mine also. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nz1BxAWKuL0

I just bought a CDL switch for mine so will be adding that to the list also. I've been looking at it setting in my garage for the last 3 weeks and I'm ready to get it on the road. Just found out today that my son's 2004 4Runner has a bad head gasket so I need to get mine running more than ever so he can drive my 98 4Runner till we figure out what to do with his. This is the 2nd 04 4Runner in our family with a bad head gasket in the last 3 months. Apparently there's a bunch of them with that problem yet Toyota will not do a recall. SMH!!

The center diff lock is an amazing thing... Especially when it's in 4lo... Wow.. It turns into a mountain goat...

I live on a hill and my son loves to watch it crawl up our drive way in the "RockMode" as my son would call it..

Also if anyone was wondering the LED depo taillights are the shiznit! Very bright and very well put together. I'm impressed for the price that's for sure.

Just curious if this is one of the China made snorkels you can buy on Amazon? They had them for $35 but with shipping they were close to $70. Some of the guys on MUD bought them and were pretty happy

Yup its the Amazon special. Looks decent and for the price I'll live without the good template. 70 bucks is way better than 350-450 for a name brand on something as simple as this.
