For the past 10 years I have owned 4 cars.
A 1986 Chevrolet Caprice Classic with power every thing. Added a L69 10.5:1 305 V8, 700R4. This was the first car I have driven over 100 MPH with. Had to scrap it and put the L69 in another truck. This was my first car, drove it HS like a boss.

My second car was a 2005 GMC Sierra W/T. Bought it during the Employee Discount in the Summer of 2005 with only 6 miles on it. Did all the work myself on it. Plane Jane, 60K worry free miles until I lost it in a rear end collision.
    scan-1_d588e50e663fc9e6f0ab4c4adbafa24ae245fd18.jpg

My third car is a 2007 Chevrolet HHR 1LT. I loved that car until it had some serious problems before it reached 80K miles. The power steering motor died, the radiator got a nice leak from a road hazard and got into some accidents. All got fixed, but it was getting very expensive to own.

Last week I traded it in for a 2007 Taco DCLB PR TRD. It has everything I wanted in a half ton pick up, that I could not find in a Chevy or GMC. I really like the Long Box, I can put so much stuff in it. Now, I must look at it in the driveway.:D

5 weeks ago before I bought my new Tacoma, I was driving a 2008 mazda 3 GT. Also had a 98 ranger. Before those, my first car was a 98 civic hatchback.

    Loving the Tacoma!

I'll add the toys too I guess:
    2004 suzuki intruder 1500
    2002 Honda RC51
    2002 Honda Cbr600
    1997 Honda Cbr600

All are gone, maybe another one soon or a 4 wheeler...?

Before the 2012 Tacoma TRD OR DCSB, I had an '08 Honda Accord(because of gas) in 4 years I never got used to how low that car was because I grew up in trucks all my life. Before the Honda I had a '97 Sierra.
    Summary:
    '08 Accord
    '97 Sierra

This is what I drove before the 2008 Taco. I also had the 98 Taco SR-5, also white, for about seven years.

I also agree with other responses, it's difficult going back to a sedan or coupe after driving a bigger SUV. Even when we traded in, I only test drove the Tacoma.

I was driving a 99 Frontier until this happened. Some bitch ran a red light while texting. On a positive note, I am now driving a 2012 Doublecab. [IMG]

I was a huge Mopar fan. I got tired of putting transmissions in my trucks so I went Toyota. Now I'm on my second Tacoma, both 2nd gen.
