What did you drive before 2nd gen tacoma?

2008 Ranger sport. Loved it had no problems but always wanted a taco so sold it

Anybody see a pattern here?

2004 Ford F250...the F250s got gradually worse every year for quality and dependability...switched to Tacoma and never been sorry. They're a work rig and a write off so every two years they're gone. They're usually pretty thrashed by then anyway.

08 duramax Ltz great truck just didn't have a use for it anymore.

 

Why would you need to trade in a Toyota every two years? Oh, are they leased?

 

Ahh how I love to reminisce of past romances...

-1988 Toyota Pickup 4x4 V6 5sp manual (my first love. BEAST!)

-1998 Tacoma Prerunner V6 (made me realize tacos are inderstructable...Put at least 10,000 miles on her in the desert and never even needed an alignment!)

-2003 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast 6sp manual (changed it up a bit from trucks. FUN CAR!)

-2010 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 Auto (I love this truck and will own another when it's gone)

 

2005 F150 4X4 Lariat. Gave it to my grandson for his first vehicle. Only 44,000 miles so he got a good one.

 

Can't find any pics of my first truck, 97 GMC Sonoma. Second and Third rides below .... kinda miss my Lexus, but the Yota is well worth it

1. 1994 Acura Integra GSR: my very first car, but was stolen from me... Loved this one.

2. 2003 Honda CRV LX: While looking for a car since mine was stolen, my mom decided that she wanted a new car, so I just took this one to get me through college.
3. 2003 Yamaha R1: Bought this from ebay just as a starter bike. Ended up selling it later after a couple months of riding.

4. 2006 Honda CBR 600RR: Bought this a year after I sold the R6. Sold this a couple of months later as well. Definitely a nice ride, miss this one too..

5. 2006 Lexus IS250 AWD: Drove this around for awhile until I decided that I wanted a higher car with more room for a back seat and larger trunk space for my Video equipment. Not a bad snow car either.

 

Before my 05 taco I had a 1997 Nissan Sentra- 2005 Ford Explorer(the wife drives it now), a 2003 Dodge Neon, 1988 Cadillac Deville Sedan, a 1998 Saturn 4Door, and a 1988 Honda Prelude. Through it all I love my Taco and will continue to love it as long as I own it.

I drove a 2007 Chevrolet Impala LT which I paid for myself until getting my 2nd gen passed down to me when my Dad bought a new Cummings Ram. Its for sale btw way if anyone's interested PM me.

 

a nissan 240 with the jdm sr20 (2.0l dohc turbo) swap, running 13psi, it made 278 RWHP in a ~2450lb rear wheel drive car, lots of fun, but dirt cheap insurance and taxes. i really miss that one

then i got a bmw 325ci coupe, 5 speed, black. gorgeous car, but boring as hell (not fast and no off road capability)

then i got a 03 gmc 2500 duramax

now i have a taco!

 

05 Tundra Double Cab 4X4, 06 Wrangler Unlimited, 82 FJ60 Land Cruiser, 93 Cummins Dodge 3/4 ton, 92 Chevy 1/2 Ext. Cab, 89 Toyota pickup, 66 Ford F1oo (still have it), 70 Ford F100, 82 Toyota pickup, 67 Mustang (wished I still had it), and a 74 Toyota Corona. Did not list them all but they were all fun to own and drive.
